Where it started
Sarovar Agro Group works from Nashik, at the centre of one of India's most intensive horticulture belts. Vineyards, pomegranate orchards and onion fields here depend on drip irrigation and on rainfall that arrives unevenly.
The Sarovar Hydrogel brand was introduced to this market in 2016, through Sarovar Nutrifert & Bio Organic Pvt. Ltd., to help growers hold irrigation water in the root zone.
