Calculate for my farmWhy water matters for drip irrigation & root-zone application
Drip delivers water to a small wetting zone. Hydrogel outside that zone never swells, so placement matters more than quantity.
When to apply
- Before the dry season or at planting, while laterals can be lifted.
How to apply
- Identify the wetting zone under each dripper.
- Place hydrogel in a band or holes 10–20 cm deep inside that zone.
- Run the system immediately after placement.
