Hydrogel for citrus & mango
Better sapling survival and steadier moisture for orchard trees.
Why water matters for citrus & mango
Young citrus and mango trees fail most in their first dry season. In bearing trees, stress during fruit set increases fruit drop.
When to apply
- New plantings: in the pit at planting.
- Established trees: before the dry season, at the canopy drip line.
How to apply
- For new plants, mix into the pit backfill.
- For established trees, make 4–6 holes at the canopy edge, place hydrogel mixed with soil, cover and irrigate.
Recommended product
Potassium polyacrylate agricultural hydrogel — made for soil, with no sodium added. For a bio-based option with a shorter field life, see starch-based hydrogel.
Indicative starting range only. The right quantity depends on your soil test, irrigation and crop stage — confirm with Sarovar's agronomy team before purchase.
