Overview
A gel pack holds more cold than loose water and does not slosh or leak when punctured. Gel-pack polymer is chosen for how quickly it gels, how stable that gel is across freeze–thaw cycles, and how evenly it fills the pack.
Sarovar supplies gel polymer to pack and packaging manufacturers. The polymer goes inside a sealed pack; it is not meant to touch food directly.

How to use it
- 1Disperse polymer into water while stirring to avoid lumps ("fish-eyes").
- 2Validate fill ratio and freeze–thaw stability on your own pack film.
- 3Keep the gel sealed inside the pack; label packs "do not eat".
